EWU is offering upper division humanities classes at Fort Steilacoom through their dental hygiene expanded degree program, but you don't have to be a hygienist to take them. The prerequisite for these courses is admission to EWU and seat availability.

Spring THTR 303 Survey of Theatre History- This course surveys the major periods of Western theatre from Greek to modern trends. 5
  WMST/HIST 394 Women in History - Brings to life and surveys the accomplishments of the "lost women" of the past from colonial times to the present. Society's definition of the nature of women and their proper roles will be examined, as well as, the actual life conditions of women and the social and economic functions they performed.   CSMT 440 International Communication - Study of culturally conditioned communication behavior as it affects intercultural relationships between people from different nations. Includes value and belief orientations, language and thought, speech styles, world views, non-verbal codes, communication breakdowns and acculturation. 5
