How long does the training last?
The duration of each session is 10 weeks. We value interaction and discussion and believe that you, as exercise professionals, benefit the most from your interaction with the instructor as well as fellow professionals. Register Here!

How much do the workshops cost?
Compared to Face-to-Face weekend-long sessions costing $1,000 or more, our courses are a bargain, considering the course is highly interactive and instructor led.

How many training hours do these workshops offer?
Each online workshop provides 20 hours of course experience. If students require additional documentation of professional education/development activity, Continuing Education Units are available (at an additional fee of $25 fee per course) through the Pierce College Continuing Education Department. How do I register?
Registration is done online through our website. On the left hand side of this screen, you will see a menu "Online Schedule/Registration" which directs you to our list of training dates and the registration form.

I don't feel comfortable providing personal information. Is this a secure site?
The registration site is the only secure page on our site. When you click on "Registration Form", you will see in the address bar that it says "https://" as opposed to the traditional "http://". That "s" indicates that you are using a secure server when you are entering your personal information.

Do I have to be logged in at a specific time each day?
No. The workshops are designed to meet the needs of busy adults and working professionals. This means you can login to the class at a time that is convenient to your schedule (during a lunch break, while the kids are at school, or in your pajamas while the kids are asleep).

Can I complete the workshop sooner than 10 weeks?
No. The workshops revolve around student discussion and interaction. By assuring that everyone is on the same schedule and will complete the course at the same time, we are ensuring that all students will be given the same opportunities to have their questions answered, to reply to their fellow students, and to meet all of the learning objectives of the training.

How do I log into my online classroom?
Once you register, you will automatically be sent payment information and instructions. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive your username, password, and login instructions. If you did not receive an email from us, please check your junk/spam email filter. My username/password is not working!

I registered, but when I login I don't see any classes. Am I missing something?
The answer is most likely "no". Online classrooms open 1 week prior to the actual start date of the course. This allows you time to explore the course, navigate the online classroom and get familiar with course expectations. Keep in mind that the training does not begin until the start date listed. For example, if you register for workshops starting August 14, you will not be able to access them until August 7.

What is required of me to complete the workshops?
It is expected that you will complete all of your weekly assignments and contribute to the online discussion board as well as complete the assignments defined by your instructor. Check the course syllabus in the online classroom for all the details.

Where is my certificate?
Your certificate will only be generated after you have completed all course reqirements and your course evaluation. You will be notified by your instructor when your certificate is available.
