List Serve: Facilitates communication between Skill Panel members.
Partnerships
Kirkwood Community College in Iowa: This focus will be to have an instructor in Ag-terrorism trained and provide training for one or two person police departments with a volunteer fire department in Ag-terrorism response.
Highline Community College: Working to provide Crew Member Self Defense training.
Bellevue Community College: Working with RATEC, Regional Advanced Technology Education Consortium, on a grant to provide training for new and current information technology employees in the area of information technology security.
Connections
PNWER: The Pacific NorthWest Economic Region is a collaboration of infrastructure industries developing security measures in the region.
WSLEEF: The Washington State Law Enforcement Executive Forum facilitates the coordination of Homeland Security programs between private business and law enforcement.
The State Committee on Homeland Security's Training and Exercise Subcommittee is responsible for ensuring training for the state's 101,000+ first responders.
Conferences
The COE will participate in Preparedness Conferences and host a statewide Community Connections Homeland Security workshop annually.
