Centers of Excellence are colleges designated as statewide leaders in specialized workforce education and training for industries that help the state's economy grow.
Centers serve as a point-of-contact and resource hub for industry trends, best practices, innovative curriculum and professional development opportunities.

Center for Information Technology Excellence
The Center serves as the core for innovation, best practices and industry-trend research associated with the IT industry and technology-infused companies. Located at Bellevue Community College
Center of Excellence for Process & Control Technology
The Center focuses on education and training related to industries such as petroleum refineries, chemical processing plants, food processing, pulp and paper mills, and wastewater treatment plants.

Center of Excellence for Energy Production & Distribution Technology
The Center provides leadership for a growing alliance of energy industry and college partners which give training opportunities that focus on the future of the energy industry. Located at Centralia College
