How to Apply

A complete application consists of:

  • Completed Pierce College International Student Admission Application
  • Application fee of US$50 (non-refundable).
  • Education records:
    • Applicants to High School Completion Program: high school transcript
    • Applications to Intensive English Program or to academic programs: proof of high school graduation or university/college attendance Note: The IEP is open to high school students summer quarter (June - August).
  • Current bank statement showing sufficient funds to cover all expenses for the first academic year - US$17,121 for academics (university transfer, professional-technical or high school completion), US$15,771 for the Intensive English Program. For shorter periods of studies, students can show less in available funds; see Tuition and Fees
  • Photocopy of the identification page of applicant's passport
  • For direct admission to college-level classes, proof of English proficiency
  • Applicants who will have a U.S. sponsor please submit Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, filled out by U.S. sponsor. Download the form at http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-134.pdf
  • Applicants under 18 years of age must submit a Liability Release. Students must be at least 16 by the first day of instruction.
  • Students transferring to Pierce College from another US school please submit a Transfer In Form.

When we have received these materials, we will determine your eligibility. If admitted, you will receive a letter of acceptance and an I-20 form (as required by the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Citizenship Services) by mail.
