Please send us the following, by mail or fax. If you fax your materials, we can process your application for admission, but you must also mail us the original documents.

- Contact us to request a printed copy by postal mail.
- Application fee of US$30 (non-refundable). No other payment is required until you register for classes.
- Education records (please send original documents or notarized copies):
- Applicants to High School Completion Program: high school transcript
- Applications to Intensive English Program or to academic programs: proof of high school graduation or university/college attendance Note: The IEP is open to high school students summer quarter (June - August).
- For direct admission to college-level classes, proof of English proficiency
- Original, current bank statement showing sufficient funds to cover all expenses for the first academic year - US$16,167 for academics (university transfer, professional-technical or high school completion), US$14,778 for the Intensive English Program. For shorter periods of studies, students can show less in available funds; see Tuition & Fees.
- Applicants who will have a U.S. sponsor please submit Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, filled out by U.S. sponsor. Download the form at http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-134.pdf
- Applicants under 18 years of age must submit a Liability Release. Students must be at least 16 by the first day of instruction.
- Students transferring to Pierce College from another US school please submit a Transfer In Form.
We will return original documents to unsuccessful applicants on request.
When we have received these materials, we will determine your eligibility. If admitted, you will receive a letter of acceptance and an I-20 form (as required by the U.S. Bureau of Immigration and Citizenship Services) by mail.
