"The teachers at Pierce College are friendly, and they want to know more about each student's culture. My English improved a lot in the Intensive English Program, and it's easy to make friends at the college.
The campus is very multicultural - there are people here from everywhere, and everyone is friendly. There are also on-campus job opportunities for students - I'm working in the Computer Lab. It's exciting to go to school at Pierce - the campus is very pretty, and there are a lot of student clubs and activities."
Frank Nourosi -- Sweden
a student in the Intensive English Program and Academics
"After completing my junior year in high school, I felt that I was ready for college. Pierce College was my top choice since it offered a wonderful high school completion program as well as college level courses for transferring to a four-year university.
My two-year experience at Pierce was truly rewarding. In the uniquely supportive environment of the Pierce campus, the college gave me countless opportunities to be a leader and to accomplish my goals. I won the Student Government election and took a leadership position in this student-run organization where I worked closely with other student leaders. I also became the founding president of the Golf Club. My other activities on campus included Multicultural Leadership Institute, Student Leader Training, Diversity Training, volunteer works and community services, etc.
In addition to these interesting activities, Pierce offered a strong academic curriculum. I excelled in all my classes and earned several awards and honors at the College. During my last year at Pierce, I was accepted to all of the four-year universities that I applied to, including my dream business school: the Stern School of Business at New York University. The knowledge I acquired at Piece College helped me excel in all of my courses at NYU. I have also taken leadership positions in top business clubs at NYU. I am graduating with top honors from NYU next month, and I have received several employment offers from prestigious companies on Wall Street. With a Pierce College education, I can get from where I am to where I want to be."
