Intensive English Program (IEP)

international students

Pierce College's Intensive English Program (IEP) provides an excellent way to learn English quickly. Whether your purpose is to continue your education in the United States or to return to your home country for further study or a career, our IEP can help you meet your language-learning goals.

Our IEP is a first-rate language program, with dedicated, well-qualified and dynamic instructors who love teaching and working with international students. Our instructors and other International Education staff have lived and worked overseas, and speak Japanese, Korean, Chinese, French, Spanish, German, as well as a few other interesting languages!

Full-time IEP students study English for 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The IEP is divided into four levels of instruction, for beginners to advanced students.

Regular IEP sessions run for 10 weeks, but students may register for fewer weeks. For students who do not enroll for a full session, tuition and fees are pro-rated.
