Associate Degrees

University Transfer Programs (2 + 2 = 4)

Students can earn the two-year Associate degree at Pierce College, then transfer to a university and, after two more years of studies, complete a bachelor's degree. At Pierce College, you can complete the first two years of studies for a bachelor's degree in these majors:

Transferring to a university

After earning the Pierce College Associate degree, it’s easy to transfer to a university to complete your bachelor’s degree. Our Transfer Advisor helps international students with every step of the transfer process.

Pierce has articulation agreements with universities and colleges throughout Washington State, including the University of Washington and Washington State University. Under these agreements, courses offered at Pierce College are equivalent to the first and second year courses at Washington colleges and universities; our students can transfer their Pierce College course credits and enter these institutions as third-year students.

Our credits also transfer to universities and colleges throughout the United States, and students with Pierce College Associate degrees can enter as 3rd year students. Recent Pierce College graduates have transferred to institutions in many states, including:

Conditional Admission Guarantee to University Pierce College has developed conditional admission guarantees with partner universities that will admit our international students as third-year students upon completion of their Associate degrees. When you are admitted to Pierce College, you can also receive a letter of conditional guaranteed admission to one of our partner universities.
