Tuition and Fees

2009-2010 Academic Year

All costs are listed in U.S. dollars.

Tuition is set by the Washington State Board of Community and Technical Colleges and is subject to change.

  • For 2009-2010, to study in our college-level classes or the high school completion program, tuition is US$2,800 (based on 15 credits) per quarter (3 months), or US$8,400 for one academic year (9 months). These fees are effective starting with the quarter that begins September 2009.
  • For 2009-2010, tuition for the Intensive English Program is US$2,450 per quarter (approximately 3 months), US$4,900 for two quarters (6 months), and US$7,350 for one academic year (3 quarters or 9 months). These fees are effective starting with the quarter that begins September 2009.

* Tuition and fees based on 15 credits. Exact cost depends on number of credits taken. Tuition and fees range from $2,689 (12 credits) to $2,911 (18 credits) per quarter. Pierce College Puyallup tuition and fees are $2,829 (15 credits) per quarter.

** This fee can be waived if you provide proof, in English, of your own health insurance with minimum coverage of US$50,000 per illness or injury.

*** Students may also choose to live in rented apartments or single rooms near the college. We do not have dormitories or on–campus housing.
