User Instructions

• Turn on the computer (located on the desk rack)
  
  
  
• Press #1 on the Extron Panel System 7SC (located below the DVD player)
  
  
  
• On the computer, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete. (It may also ask for a password. If so, leave it blank and click OK)
  
  
• Note- Firewire, USB, DVD, ZIP & Floppy drives are all located next to the on button of the computer.

• Hold down "Display Power" for 3 seconds on the Extron Panel System 7SC.
  
  *** note- after you release the button it will take several seconds to warm up and be visible on the screen.

Plug in the VGA cable from the laptop into the Extron AAP 102 box (on top of the desk).

• Also plug in your audio cable if needed.
  
  
  
  
• Press #2 on the Extron System 7SC panel
  
  

• Push the Power Button on the right side of the document camera.
  
  
  
  
• To use it:
  • Turn the knob near the camera head to focus.
    
    
    
  • Move the arm to place it over your document
    
    
  • Press Zoom "+" or "-" to zoom in or out.
    
    
• To turn off:
  • Press and hold the Power Button on the right side of the document camera for 3 seconds.

• Turn the Power On
  
  
  
• Select #4 on the Extron Panel System 7SC
  
  
  
  
• Move the head into position over your document
  
  
• Focus by turning the ring on the camera head
  

• Insert the DVD or VCR
  
  
  
  
• Press #5 on the Extron Panel System 7SC

• Turn the Volume knob (located on the right of the Extron Panel System 7SC
  
  

• Plug the video cable from your auxiliary device into the Extron box on the top of the desk as follows:
  • Yellow = Video
  • White = Left Audio
  • Red = Right Audio
    
    
    
    
• Press #6 on the Extron Panel System 7SC
  
  
  
  
• Adjust volume if applicable
  

• Shutdown the computer (by selecting Start>Shutdown), and shutdown the document camera and any external device by turning off the power.
  
  
  
  
• Turn off the projector by pressing and holding the "Display Power" button on the Extron Panel System 7SC for 3 seconds.
  • **(note- it won't turn off until you release the button)
    
    
    
    
• Raise the screen
  
  
  
  
• Make sure the door is locked when you leave.
