Summary of Steps from the Video
| Step 1: | Open up an image in your image editing software (such as Adobe Photoshop, located in both Lava Java's) |
| Step 2: | Go to Image > Image Size and change the resolution to 72 pixels per inch. |
| Step 3: | Also be sure the Constrain Proportions box is checked and at Width, change it to 6 or 8 inches. Click OK |
| Step 4: | On the menubar choose Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen |
| Step 5: | Go to File > Save As and give your photo a different name and be sure it is being saved in a JPEG format. |
| Step 6: | Choose a compression of "High" then click OK |
| **note | As a summary most images sent over the Internet usually don't need to be any larger than 6" to 8" wide or tall, and be sure to change the resolution to 72 |
