Photographs
can be scanned and saved to your disk or hard drive then inserted
into PowerPoint. To get information on how to scan a photo, click
here.
Click
on the Slide View button.
At
your menubar, click on Insert > Picture > From File.
Click
on the Arrow in the "Look in" box and find our digital
photograph
Click
Insert.

Moving
and resizing a photograph |

When
the photograph is in PowerPoint you can click on it once and little
white squares show up at each corner of the photograph. These are
called "Handles".

- Put
you cursor in the middle of the picture and drag to move it.
- Put
your cursor over one of the white corner boxes. When you do this
your cursor turns into a double arrow. Click, hold and drag the
cursor to resize the image.

- To
keep your image in proportion, hold down the Shift key
on your keyboard while dragging the white box with your cursor.

Be
sure you are still in Slide View 
At
the menubar click on Insert > Picture > Clip Art
At
the Insert ClipArt dialog box, Right click on the Clip Art
of your choice, then click Insert.

the Clip Art is in PowerPoint you can click on it once and little

Layer

You
can put an image in front or behind other images or text. To try
this insert an image into a slide that has text on it.
Right
Click on your image. Choose Order, then Bring to Front,
Bring to Back, etc.


In
this image the lion was right-clicked on and moved to the front
by choosing "Order > Bring to Front".
You can do the
same with arranging the order of several images.
