Look at your monitor. IMovie should be showing a blue screen saying "Camera Connected"

Click the Rewind button on your screen.

After the tape rewinds, click the Play button to view your tape.

You will now be able to watch your video in the Main Window.

When you get to the part you want to capture, click the Import button.

Do this for all of your clips. You will see thumbnail images of your clips in the clip window on the right side of your screen.

Now you are ready to use these clips to make a movie!
