You can also put your DV (digital video) tape into a DV Player that is already connected to the computer. This player is located in the FS Lava Java.

Turn the Power On on the JVC SR-VS10 Mini DV Player located above the Macintosh in the FS Lava Java (room 344).

Take your recorded DV tape out of the digital camcorder and put it into the Player .

Push the DV button located directly beneath the Power button.

Press the Play button

Turn ON the Television set (next to the Mini DV Player) so you can view your tape.

Now you can view your video clips from your camera in the Main Window of iMovie and import selected clips into the Clip Window.
