When
you are in your Blackboard website, as an instructor you will see
a Control Panel button on the lower left of the screen.
*Note
- Only you as the instructor will have this button. Students
do not have access to it.

on the "Page Editor" button |

You will have several buttons to choose from. The Page Editor is
where you will input your course content.

on the "Assignments Editor" button

on the "Add Document" button

Start
typing your own information:
You
can either type in your assignments or you can link an existing
assignment you have on disk to this site. It
may be easier to link an existing assignment (see Option # 2
below)

- Instead
of typing in your own information, scroll down to section
#2-Select Options, where it says "Optional File Upload"
and click the Browse button.

- Locate
where you have saved your handout, then click Open.
- Scroll
down to the bottom of the page and click "Submit".
If
you chose option #2 your students will need to have the same software
you used to create the assignment (ie: Microsoft Word). To get
around this, save your file as an HTML file before you upload
it to Blackboard. Most current word document software allows you
to save your work as HTML (or Web files).

View it as
a student
- At
the top of the page, click "Return to Course"
- Then
click the "Assignments" button
