other than internal class purposes you need to have copyright permission.
Place your music CD in the CD tray of the
computer. If you place it in the DVD tray, it may not work correctly.
Be sure to remember to place it in the CD tray instead.
Click on Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment
> CD Player
Following the same procedure
again (#2), this time open up Sound Recorder and Volume Control
Using the CD Player, click the play button to start the CD
Set the desired levels in the Volume Control
Be sure that none of
the mute buttons are checked.
When youre ready to record, click
the Record button in the Sound Recorder; then click the Play button
for the desired track in the CD Player.
When you are finished, click the Stop
button on the Sound Recorder and SAVE the file to your disk.

Plug a microphone into the microphone
jack in the back of the computer.
Open up Sound Recorder, and Volume
Control (See Copying a CD, above, for details)
In Volume Control click Options then
Properties
Choose "Adjust Volume for Recording"
then click OK
Be sure the Select button under Microphone
is checked.
On the Sound Recorder, click the Record
button and start talking.
