Write to a CD
Windows

Open up the Rewritable CD drawer (The second from the top on the computer) and place in a blank CD-R or CD-RW.

These are recordable and rewritable blank CD's. You can purchase them at the Bookstore or your nearby computer or office supply store. The TDK brand has been very reliable.
At the Start menu, choose Programs > Adaptec Easy CD Creator > Easy CD Creator

Give it several seconds to open up. Then you will see the Adaptec Easy CD Creator Wizard. Choose that you want to create either a Data CD or a Music CD. Then Choose "Next".
If you want to be sure everything will work properly before you actually record to CD-R, then choose "Perform the Test". and "Next". This will perfom a test but not really record data. It will tell you if there is a problem recording and offer ideas on how to solve it. The only downside is that this can take several minutes.

If you feel fairly confident that the recording will work and you don't want to wait for it to perform a test, then click "Do not perform the test".
Then click "Next".

Click "Create CD Now".

This can take several minutes. It will eject the CD when finished and tell you that it was created successfully.
