My official title is media coordinator/instructional
specialist/media specialist. In other words, I have
no official title! I manage Media Services and help
faculty integrate new technologies into their
curriculum. I also manage, teach, and am the webmaster for the faculty learning centers, more affectionately
known as the Lava Java's.
Need a media system designed, procured, and
installed in the college? I'm the guy! My main goal
is to help the college with their media needs in
anyway I can. I hang my hat in Puyallup now and am also available to help instructors with all kinds of media needs.
I'm the multimedia producer, and that means...
hmm... we do all sorts of "stuff" and have a lot of
fun doing it in general. I'm Jack-of-all-trades.
Currently, my main areas of research and support are:
web-based multimedia, digital video, and
streaming media.

I was hired by the
Media Dept. June of 2000 to assist with the
installation, upkeep, and maintenance of
Multimedia Audio/Visual Equipment, i.e. “cool
stuff”. I also take photographs for the various
campus-wide publications, and provide audio
recording and live sound reinforcement for student
and faculty events. On the weekends I can be
found at any number of Clubs, Saloons, or
Country Clubs throughout the West Coast
performing R&B, Soul, Rock, and Funk with my
band Soul Siren.
