Tom Link (Psychology) recommends Alive Day (DVD). This look at the physical and emotional cost of war is told through soldiers’ memories. Tom says: There is a good balance of reality without being excessive. It touches on cognitive struggles, dealing with artificial limbs, and the emotional complexity of homecomings.

And, the Gale Virtual Reference Library has added the Encyclopedia of the Life Course and Human Development, providing reference articles on three key life stages: childhood and adolescence; adulthood; and later life. Ebrary has unveiled a new, improved interface! You no longer need to download a special reader to read a book online. The reader is required to print, copy, highlight, or add a book to your bookshelf; this reader is installed on all library computers.
