The Puyallup campus library now features a self-check machine so that you can check out your own books! Have your student ID ready and follow the instructions on the monitor to check out books and print a receipt with the due date. If you have questions, ask the circulation staff for help.

Attention Dental Hygiene students! The library has a trial subscription to the Dentistry & Oral Science Source, which has articles from hundreds of dentistry journals, many of which are available full-text. Go to the “Articles & Databases” page to your left and select the link for database trials at the bottom to explore this database!

The Unthinkable: Who Survives When Disaster Strikes and Why by Amanda Ripley (BF 698.35 . R57).
Mike Campbell, Director of the Center of Excellence Homeland Security, is a strong advocate of this book and believes it ought to be required reading. It is a quick, riveting read and even skimming it will convince you that safety drills can save your life.
