PIERCE_COLLEGE_LIBRARY PERIODICAL_INDEXES

Periodical indexes allow you to search for articles by subject, author, title and more. These databases vary in the type of resources they offer (journals, magazines or newspapers) or a subject area they emphasize (general, education, medicine). All of the databases support Boolean searching (see our handout on Boolean searching). Our QuickTips web page has additional search techniques and strategies.
