Logging on to Blackboard

Logging In to Blackboard CE

Welcome to the Pierce College! You should have already received a Welcome Letter. The Welcome Letter contains your User name and Password so you can log on to the Blackboard CE server.

1. To access your course, use your browser and maneuver to http://pierce.blackboard.com.

From the Entry Page screen, click Log In. The Log In screen appears.

3. In the User name text box, enter your user name. In the Password text box, enter your password.

4. Click OK. The My Blackboard screen will appear. You have successfully logged in to Blackboard CE.

Click on the Ok Button to log in.

NOTE: If the Browser Check Results pop-up window appears, the browser you are using may not be validated for use with Blackboard CE or there may be issues with the configuration of your browser. For more information, go to the Browser Tune-up page (http://www.webct.com/tuneup).

When the My Blackboard screen first appears, your browser may require that you accept the Java security certificate. If you click any links or buttons in My Blackboard before the security certificate window is finished loading or before acceptance has been established, your Blackboard CE session will end in error and you may have to manually end and restart your browser application.

5. Click on the Course Name link (shown in blue) to enter the course.

If you are unable to access your course, after verifying the above instructions and having waited 24 hours, try these TroubleShooting tips.

If it still doesn't work, click on the e-mail link below to request assistance. You will be advised what to do by return mail. Your e-mail must include your Full Name, Student ID (925xxxxxx), and what course you are trying to access.
