**These special procedures may be used ONLY if you meet ALL the following criteria:
- You have NO military identification (Active/Reserve/Guard/Retiree/Family)
- You are NOT enrolled at the Military Site for current term NOTE: Current students cannot use these procedures!
- You are a Self-pay student (i.e., no 3rd party funding except VocRehab)
- It is CRUCIAL that you check pre-requisites BEFORE registering for a course
A copy of transcript indicating prerequisite must accompany registration form.
If you do not meet ALL criteria, you must come to the Military Program office on Fort Lewis or McChord AFB to complete the registration process prior to the end of the current term.

NOTE: Your form MUST be legible to avoid a delay in processing!
- QUARTER = Term you are taking classes
- YEAR = 2008
- STATUS = NEW (only if NEVER taken a Pierce class); otherwise FORMER
- STUDENT ID = Social Security Number or Student ID Number
- NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE = Self explanatory (please print clearly using CAPITAL letters!)
- You MUST provide a valid e-mail address!
- Mark all check boxes as appropriate
- CLASS SCHEDULE (See printed or on-line schedule)
- ITEM NO. = ITEM column (example: B105 - Fort Lewis or 6115 - McChord )
- COURSE DEPT & NO. = COURSE from column 2 (example: ACCNT 101)
- CRE = CR from column 4 (example: 5)
- ROOM = BLDG/ROOM from column 5 (example: 6242-C129)
- CIRCLE DAYS = DAY from column 6 (example: M-F means Monday thru Friday;
M/W means Monday and Wednesday
- TIME = TIME from column 7
- AMOUNT = TOTAL CREDITS x $81.92 PLUS any lab fees
- Sign and date your enrollment form
- If paying by Credit Card, mark appropriate box and fill in required information
- If paying by Check, make check payable to Pierce College
- NOTE: You must include a valid e-mail address with your application for contact purposes.
For class enrollment at either Fort Lewis or McChord AFB, either:
- FAX your enrollment form to Pierce College at (253) 964-6729
- Mail to:

- ATTN: Civilian Registration
- 9401 Farwest Drive SW
- Lakewood, WA 98498-1999
- or email your form to Local Civilian Registration.
Upon completion of processing, you will be mailed a Verification of Enrollment form which should be presented to Military Police for access to the installation. You will also be advised of the required textbook for your class(es).
Due to changing security conditions, these procedures are subject to change with minimal notice. Pierce College Military Program will make reasonable accommodations to facilitate your enrollment process however we WILL NOT compromise the security of our armed forces.
DO NOT call from the gate requesting someone to sponsor you! We CANNOT provide sponsors.
