Login to your e-mail now

Routine maintenance is performed daily 3:45 - 4 a.m. and weekly, Saturday at 10:50 p.m. - Sunday at 9 a.m. The system may be unavailable at those times.

You can access your Pierce College e-mail from any computer with an Internet connection.

1. Open a browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, etc., but not AOL.)
2. In the address bar, type http://mail.pcd.edu/
3. Enter your username in the form "firstname.middleinitial.lastname" -- where the name matches the name you registered with. (If you didn't include a middle initial, it won't be part of your address.)
4. Enter your password, which is the last four (4) digits of your student identification number (SID).
5. Click on the "login" button.

Account

If you are enrolled in one or more courses at Pierce College, you have a Pierce College e-mail account. Faculty can send course messages, college staff can send important announcements, and students can contact one another.

Your e-mail address is based on your name: firstname.middleinitial.lastname@pcd.edu. For example, Jane Q. Public's e-mail address would be jane.q.public@pcd.edu.

If you didn't use your middle initial for registration, then it won't be included in your address; using the example above, Jane Public's address would be jane.public@pcd.edu.

Please register with a consistent name. Otherwise, your original e-mail address will be automatically terminated.

Your account will be established by 7 a.m. on the day after you register and will remain active for one year after your last quarter as long as you are enrolled in one or more credit courses at Pierce College.

Your account comes with 5 MB of space for messages and attachments.

AOL users

If you are using AOL for Internet service, you cannot use the AOL browser to access your Pierce College e-mail.

1. Minimize the AOL screen after you login to AOL.
2. Open another browser: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, etc.
3. Then follow the directions under "Logging in".

Forwarding e-mail

You can forward your Pierce College e-mail to your existing e-mail address.

1. Login to your Pierce College e-mail account.
2. Go to Options.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Select Mail Forwarding.
5. Enter the e-mail address that you want your Pierce College e-mail forwarded to.
6. Click on Save Changes.
