“Why?” you ask. Because it will cost the student body $0, and give students more benefits than the current system.

  • Auto-forwarding of your student email to another email account;

  • Your entire account is completely configurable, including your own personal home page.

New Online Advising Tools!

Matrix - Searchable Courses by Discipline and Time

This tool allows students to search for a course by time of day, within Location and/or Discipline. This helps in finding a course to fit a specific time, when planning a class schedule for the Quarter.

OCA - Online Catalog

This site allows Pierce College students to access program information, course information (including course content and course abilities), and the current syllabi for most courses.

A PDF of the 2007-2008 College Catalog (10 mb) is also available. The PDF is the official version of the college catalog. Also see the general requirements for Associate degrees

QCAT -Quarterly Course Schedule

This is a course search tool that you can use to see which campuses have the classes that you need, and if there is space available in those classes.
The QCAT is an online Quarterly Course Schedule you can use to search the current quarter for specific class offerings or to check class availability at a specific Pierce College District campus or education center.
You can search for classes by a number of characteristics, including: campus, day, class start time, instructor, number of credits, etc.
Once you find a class, you can get more detailed information, including the current number of Seats Available, by clicking on the Item Number button at the far left.

New Student Email System Fall Quarter 2008 - As of August 18, 2008 we will be shutting down the current student email system because it will be moving to a new vendor.  The new system will have a lot more features and capabilities -- e.g., a built-in Calendar, Web-based document editing and sharing, etc.

The new student email system will be available before the start of Fall Quarter.  Check back to this site for updates.

Effective Fall Quarter 2007 - Pierce College District will use the Student Email System as the official means of communications with our students.

Advising & Registration

Add/drop classes

Use the online registration to add or drop classes. You'll need your Registration Access Code. Or print out a schedule change form (PDF) and mail, fax, or bring it to the registration office.

Apply online

Applicants to our Dental Hygiene and Veterinary Technology programs, as well as Running Start and International students, may not use the online Admissions Form because of special admissions processes. [info about admission]

ONLINE APPLICATION NOTE: Apply to the location where you plan on taking the majority of your courses, you can still take classes at either college. Please do not apply to both Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup!
