Faculty Counselor and Faculty Counselor–Advisor Qualifications
Pierce College District hires qualified individuals to fill a variety of counseling and/or advising–related positions within the district.
The minimum qualifications for faculty counselor and faculty counselor–advisor tenure track positions typically include:
- a Master's Degree in counseling, guidance, student development, psychology, social work, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university
- and the completion of a supervised internship as part of the degree program.
Qualifications may vary based upon the requirements for each individual position.
