Many local 4-year schools visit Pierce College; we also host Transfer Fairs to bring together a variety of schools on one day. See this page for upcoming events.
All 4-year schools offer events and tours for prospective students, including transfer students. Check the admissions section of your preferred school's Web site.
If you can't visit the campus, visit the college's Web site! Many college sites include a wealth of information for prospective students, including virtual tours.

What to know about your chosen school
- What are the transfer admission requirements?
- Are there any additional requirements for your preferred major?
- What are the graduation requirements for your major?

Pay careful attention to application requirements and deadlines.
Essay: If an essay or personal statement is required, be sure to address any required topics completely but succinctly. Get help from a trusted person (advisor, instructor, parent or friend) in editing and proofreading.
Portfolio: You may be able to submit a portfolio in addition to an essay. Visit Job Connections to learn more.
Transcripts: you will need to request an official transcript from Pierce and any other colleges you've attended. Your official transcript should be sent directly to the 4-year school.

See the financial aid and scholarship sections of your preferred school's site to get information. When you complete a FAFSA, list all the colleges to which you are applying. It doesn't cost anything, and you'll be sure to get your information processed more quickly!
