The Pierce College Athletic Department offers six inter-collegiate sports: men's and women's basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball and softball. Pierce participates in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC). The NWAACC is made up of 32 colleges from Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Pierce College also offers cheerleading.

The Raider Baseball team fell short of their goal of a return trip to the NWAACC Tournament in 2009, but were in the playoff hunt up to the final weekend of the season. Purugganan to lead Pierce College Women's Basketball
Brian Purugganan has been selected as the new head coach for the Pierce College Womens Basketball program. Day 2 results at the Raiders Invitational Tournament
