Raiders Baseball sweeps Centralia

Pierce Baseball continued its strong, consistent play against Centralia during the Pierce-hosted doubleheader on Sunday, April 6, 2008. The Raiders beat the Trailblazers 3-1 and 11-4. Sophomore Travis Stultz pitched a complete 7 inning game, allowing just 5 hits and no earned runs. Additionally, he had six strikeouts. Freshman Zach Hamilton was also a key contributor, hitting a lead-of, walk-off homerun in the bottom of the 7th to win the game for Pierce.
Pierce collected 14 hits during game two. The big bats for the Raiders were Keola Rubin, who went 3 for 5, Kody Gibson, 2 for 4, and Bryan Boyle, who went 2 for 5 with one homerun. Bryan Guyett pitched 5 strong innings to collect the win.
