Raiders Sports Camps 2009
Pierce College is pleased to announce this year's our Summer Sports Camp program for 2009. Long known for our excellence in educational programs throughout the Pacific Northwest, the Raiders Summer Sports Camps continue the tradition of providing outstanding learning opportunities to our local community.
This summer, we will be offering sports camps in basketball and soccer. You won’t want to miss the outstanding instruction designed to improve your skills, build confidence in your playing ability, and teach strong team dynamics. Individual and group instruction will be provided by our outstanding camp staff, in an atmosphere, with lots of opportunity to show your stuff on the court. In addition to the hard work, you’ll have lots of fun.

Camp Sessions for 2009:
Raiders Summer Basketball Camp (boys and girls, ages 7-13)
Join Coach Bill Mendelson and his camp staff for a fun and exciting week of basketball camp. Camp will be held at the Health Education Center on the campus of Pierce College Fort Steilacoom (in Lakewood). Boys and girls ages 7-13 will receive instruction in basic and advanced basketball skills. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to improve your game, meet new friends, and have a great time!
When: June 22-25, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where: Health Education Center, Pierce College Fort Steilacoom
Who: Boys and girls ages 7-13
Raider Advanced Soccer Academy (boys and girls ages 9-17)
Pierce College Men's Soccer Program is proud to offer an Advanced Soccer Academy, for local boys and girls ages 9-17. The Academy will be held at Heritage Park (in Puyallup) during the month of July. Raiders Head Coach Bill Pearson and members of the Pierce College Men’s Soccer team will provide quality instruction that will improve player techniques at every skill level. Coach Pearson has 14 years of coaching experience in the local area and holds a USSF “B” National License. His focus for the academy will be advanced skill development and tactics.
When: July 6, 9, 13, 15, 20, 23, 27 and 30, 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
