The Raiders put five players in double figures with a strong team effort to defeat Lower Columbia 92-80. Darius Vaielua led Pierce with 21 while Craig Schweikl scored 20 and Mike Peterson added 14 points. Junior Wise had six assists and Josh Mullins led with five steals. The win moves the Raiders to 3-4 in league and 8-7 overall.

Kim Wynn scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Lower Columbia as the Raiders were defeated 82-65. Tiffany Stewart also added 18 points in one of the Raiders' strongest games of the season. Pierce travels to Green River College Jan. 29.

Clark College's James Phillips scored 22 points in the first half and 32 overall to defeat Pierce 99-83. Darius Vaielua was nine for 14 from the field and led the Raiders with 20 points while Seth Davis had 15. The Raiders drop to 2-4 in the league but are looking for their next win as they take on Lower Columbia College Saturday Jan. 25 at the Lakewood Community Center.

The Pierce Raiders jumped out to a early 9-2 lead but couldn't overcome 33 turnovers and were defeated by Clark College 84-56. The Raiders got strong performances from Ashley German with 17 points and Tiffany Stewart's 13 points and 7 rebounds.

The Raiders stormed back from a 10-point deficit in the last five minutes to overcome Highline College 95-88. Leading the charge was Junior Wise's back-to-back three's and a 63 percent shooting percentage in the second half. Johnny Dukes and Cory McJimson each scored 24 points and Darius Vaielua scored 20 in the win. The Thunderbirds were led by 34 points and 14 rebounds from Jeelani McDonald. The Raiders league record evens out to 2-2 and 7-5 overall.

Highline College jumped out to a 19-2 lead in the first five minutes and never looked back, defeating Pierce College 52-83. Natasha Rice scored 13 points while Tiffany Stewart grabbed 7 rebounds. The Raiders travel to South Puget Sound College Saturday, Jan. 18 looking for their first league win.
