Paige Ellertson

Head Coach

Paige Ellertson enters her fifth season as the Raider Volleyball head Coach. Last season, Ellertson and her team shared many successes, most notable among them was a third consecutive trip to the NWAACC Conference Tournament, while capturing third place in the West. Additionally, Kristi Alcorn, Captain of the 07-08 Squad, was named to the Western Division First Team All-Stars, and freshman Cami Medlock was named to the Western Division Second Team. Sophomores Kristi Alcorn and Jessica Aldrich were both named to the Western Division Sophomore All-Star Team.

Ellertson is looking forward to an exciting 2008-2009 season in the new Pierce College Health Education Center. She is very excited to have a solid core of sophomores returning from last years squad, while having added some very talented freshmen to the roster. This years team will continue to build upon the foundation of excellence that Ellertson has brought to the Raiders volleyball program.

Ellertson received a full-ride athletic scholarship to play volleyball at Division I Seton Hall University. She served as the team captain of the squad for two years and was named the university's Student Athlete of the Year in 2002. She was a Verizon District II Academic All-American and was awarded an NCAA Post-Graduate scholarship, which she used to earn her Masters Degree in German from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is married and has a German Shorthair Pointer, who serves as the team's unofficial mascot.
