Volleyball Season Outlook
The Pierce College Raiders will be looking to meet and exceed their accomplishments from last year. With returning sophomores, Kylie Jeffers, Western Region Co-MVP, and Brianna Breland, along with sophomore transfer Kristen Iverson, the Raiders should boast strong leadership and disciplined work ethic. The squad’s incoming seven freshmen, Chelsea Olivas, Brittney Jansen, Alex Brasseaux, Nissa McCormack, Lauren Komarzec, Emily Wilson, and Caroline Struck, are a very talented and experienced group who are more than capable of being significant impact players, both for the team and within the conference. The 2009-2010 Raider squad has set high goals for themselves and is very dedicated to doing everything it takes to achieve them. The Raider coaches are very excited about this season and believe this year’s team to be capable of achieving many great things within the Western Region and the NWAACC Conference.
