Head Coach – Ann Bowen

A familiar face with the Women's Basketball program, Bowen played for the Raiders from 1986–1988 before moving on to Central Washington University. She served as an assistant coach for Pierce from 1993–1998 and again in 2003–2004. In between her stints with the Raiders, Bowen was the head girl's varsity coach at Stadium High School from 1998–2002. She took Stadium to the playoffs for the first time in over 15 years.
While playing for Pierce, Bowen was selected to 2nd Team All–League her sophomore season, played in the Sophomore all–star game, and was the leading scorer in the NWAACC with a 21.0 points per game average. Bowen still holds the record as Pierce's all–time leading scorer, for both women and men. Bowen accomplished all this without playing high school basketball. After graduating from Pierce, Bowen attended CWU where she earned her Bachelor's of Education and was a member of the basketball team.
Bowen has taught elementary school for the past 15 years. Currently, she teaches 6th grade. Her hobbies include reading, camping, and watching college basketball. Coach Bowen currently lives in Tacoma.
