Final Cut Basics and Timing Exercise
Using the footage I provided, break into small groups and create an intro to a camping video.
The intro should establish a back-to-nature feel in which a lone camper is cooking by a camp stove. He walks over to the campfire while unwittingly being observed by "something" in the nearby forest. As he is relaxing by the fire he is attacked....freeze frame....fade to black.
Use the sounds and music provided as you see fit.
Pay attention to your message and timing. Include enough info to communicate the message but also don't let your viewer linger too long on a scene if not necessary! Trim your clips so the mood is set and the message is communicated in the most efficient manner.
Save your project to your harddrive. When finished, save the sequence only to the 404 share drive.
