Basic Camera Checklist

Before you can check out these cameras you must first show us (the instructors) that you know how to do the basic operations.

They are:

GL-2

1. Connect Batteries and AC Power Adaptor
2. Set the DV cassette for Record
3. Properly load a DV cassette
4. Turn on power for using the Camera
5. Set to Program Mode (not fully automatic)
6. Adjust the LCD screen for front and side viewing
7. Show where the Tape/Card switch is
8. Set Manual focus
9. Lock Exposure
10. Turn Digital Zoom off
11. Set White balance for:
    1. Auto
    2. Indoor
    3. Outdoor
    4. Manual
12. Set audio levels manually
13. Rewind and Play back video
14. Connect Firewire cable to camera

ZR-40

1. Connect Batteries and AC Power Adaptor
2. Set the DV cassette for Record
3. Properly load a DV cassette
4. Turn on power for using the Camera
5. Set to Program Mode
6. Adjust the LCD screen for front and side viewing
7. Set Manual Focus
8. Change exposure
9. Turn Digital Zoom off
10. Set White balance for:
    1. Auto
    2. Indoor
    3. Outdoor
    4. Manual
11. Set audio levels manually
12. Rewind and Play back video
13. Connect Firewire cable to camera
