Background:I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.I went to undergrad at Drury College, in Springfield, MO.I majored in Chemistry and played four years of volleyball for the panthers.I graduated in May of 1999.I then attended graduate school at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.In December 2001 I graduated with my M.S. in Chemistry with an emphasis in Inorganic Chemistry.

Current:I am engaged to the man of my dreams, Chris Gorman.We will be getting married sometime next year in sunny Hawaii!!I am still playing competitive volleyball.I have a wonderful little dog, Jake, who is one of my best friends (even though his breath is bad).

The chemistry department at pierce College is awesome and I am proud to be apart of such a wonderful group of people!
