Pierce College offers a wide variety of online, correspondence, grounded and &hybrid (combines Internet with classroom instruction) training programs through its relationships with instructors and course providers across the US. Most online courses are non-credit and vary from 10 hours to 200. Some are structured with specific start and end dates (ed2go) while others allow you to work at your own pace. Classes are continuous entry (except ed2go classes which have monthly start dates) so you can register and start your course at any time. Most online courses have a free demo where you can try out the class to see if it will work for you. For online classes it helps to have reliable (preferably high speed) Internet service. Real Estate correspondence courses are regular credit courses where you have homework and exams.

These programs have been built by a team of professionals from each respective field who work with an existing textbook or base of material to provide the most effective online learning experience. Instructors are available during your online learning experience. They will respond to any questions or concerns as well as are their to encourage and help you succeed. Each program has a set of lessons and tests; succesful completion is determined by a combination of chapter or final tests/quizzes and the instructor's evaluation of student work.
