Chris Berryman
Back Country Photography
Chris Berryman began mountain climbing in 1979 on Mt. Rainier. Now hooked on the sport, he's added to his experience Mt. Baker, Mt. Adams, Mt. Olympus, Mt. St. Helens, and numerous other climbs including mountains in California and Alaska. He has been a rope leader and an instructor for the Mountaineers organization. Chris has also been involved in avalanche training courses and is well-trained in back country first aid procedures. He and photographer Kerry Ellsworth, currently teach a Back Country Photography class that combines climbing with nature photography techniques. Chris had this to say about his love of teaching:
