PAUL SNARE, Small Business Series
Paul Snare is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in civil engineering and a masters in business administration (MBA). He has worked for a variety of corporate giants including Procter & Gamble, Scott Paper Company, and Weyerhaeuser where he gained extensive experience as a production manager, project manager, and engineer.
Paul retired from Weyerhaeuser in 1999, and chose to give back to the community by sharing his valuable expertise and experiences with local organizations and individuals. He is a volunteer with SCORE (SBA) and provides individual business counseling, workshop presentations and has served as Chair of the organization. He also speaks to local, county and state organizations on such topics as management and supervision.
Paul teaches The Small Business Series, Conflict Management and The Unwritten Rules of Project Management for Pierce College Continuing Education. When asked why he loves teaching adult education classes, he commented, "I teach small business for the satisfaction of sharing key lessons I have learned throughout my career. I hope that students can use my experiences in their thinking about the what and how to achieve success."
