Can't make it to a classroom? Try an online class. Online classes allow you to learn from home or work, anywhere you have online access. Some classes follow a preset six week schedule with monthly start and end dates. Others allow you determine your own start date and give you a specific amount of time to complete the work so that you can create your own schedule.

CATIA V5

CATIA Version 5 is Dassault Systemes' computer aided drafting and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software solution that allows you to define and make the tools needed to manufacture your products. CATIA is predominately used by design, tooling, and manufacturing engineers, commercial and consumer designers and users of other CAD/CAM software programs. This software is the standard in the aircraft industry (Boeing) and used widely in the automotive industry across the US. See the software demo.

More About Spanish for the Workplace

Thinking about learning Spanish for your job? In these interactive online classes you'll learn industry specific vocabulary, basic grammar and pronunciation through listening and visual exercises, reading activities and quizzes to check your progress. Each 16-hour course includes a downloadable vocabulary reference list you can take to work. These courses focus on communicating about job issues rather than travel or conversational Spanish. Spanish for Manufacturing is designed for managers, supervisors, team leaders, or anybody who works with Spanish-speaking employees and co-workers in a manufacturing setting. In addition to basic greetings and general Spanish vocabulary, the course also covers job titles, factory vocabulary, common actions and commands, hand tools, power tools, supplies and materials, hardware, clean-up terms, measurements, safety equipment, job expectations, job performance, supervisory terms, schedules and shifts, and hazardous materials.

How long will it take me to complete each class? Most students complete each course in 20-30 hours. Not sure what direction to take? For those wishing an overview of the travel industry, we recommend the Taking Off In Travel Course. It is the perfect course to introduce you to a variety of travel products and careers in travel and tourism. This course provides an overview of the basics of the travel industry and career opportunities available. Enjoy a fun, realistic presentation of: air travel, car rentals, hotel accommodations, rail travel, tours, and cruises. Group travel, incentive travel, meetings and conventions, in-bound tourism, international travel and niche travel are also discussed. There will be opportunities for learning activities as well as exercises and thought-provoking case studies to aid in applying the principles presented.

Why take a class online? Online classes are ideal for those who can not attend regularly scheduled courses due to work or family commitments. You can access your class materials at any time of the day or night. Classes are individually priced, so you can pay as you go.
