  • 100% less $7*- When a student withdraws two (2) business days prior to the first class session.

  • 0% - When a student withdraws less than two (2) business days prior to the first class session, after the class begins or does not attend (or stops attending) the course.

*Deposits on some courses (when specified in the description), field study, all travel and trips, medical coding, clock hours, CEU fees and the $7 registration fee are nonrefundable. There are no refunds for online courses once a username and password have been issued.

Dental Hygiene Expanded Function courses through Continuing Education are subject to more restrictive refund policies. Please contact the Dental Hygiene Program Manager at 253-840-8453 regarding these specific refund policies and deadlines.

Refunds are processed by the registration and cashiering office as quickly as possible. All students entitled to a refund will be issued a check regardless of initial payment method as we do not store debit or credit card information on file. You should receive your refund within two to three weeks from the date of class cancellation.

DEBTS TO THE COLLEGE - If you have an outstanding debt to the college, the college may offset the outstanding debt against any refunds due to you.

Register early as many classes fill within a few days. If you wait until the day before the class starts you might find the class full or cancelled because we didn't get enough advance registrations to support the class expenses.

When classes are cancelled due to low enrollment, we make every effort to call you as far in advance as possible (we try not to cancel too early as last minute enrollments might give us enough students to hold the class) so please make sure we have your current phone numbers when you register.

We cancel courses only when absolutely necessary, but we reserve the right to do so, as well as to reschedule courses and change instructors when necessary.

If your course is canceled, you may transfer to another course. If you choose not to transfer, you will automatically receive a full refund within 30 days.
