Earn up to 10 college credits in English or Drama or 100 OSPI clock hours through classroom study with English Professor, Steve Jaech (pictured above as Shakespeare), combined with a four-day stay in Ashland, Oregon. Spend three days/four nights close to the excitement and bright lights of the theater in this charming Oregon town with a European feel. You'll enjoy five plays, a backstage tour and a chat with director or actor, and pre-show dance and musical events. Course fee includes play tickets, motel accommodations (room are double occupancy, shared rooms) and course tuition. Download a flyer (PDF).

Books: Purchase books for the four Shakespeare plays at local retail bookstores, or online (We do not put these in the college bookstore). You may be able to find a Shakespeare collection for less money than buying separate titles. Shakespeare plays are available for Kindle.
Register for a total of 10 credits or 100 clock hours. (Teachers must decide between credits or clock hours at the time of registration as this can not be changed after the class starts.) Please make arrangments to attend all class sessions (clock hours are calculated by seat time).

Fees: $1099 includes tuition! for 10 credits or 100 OSPI clock hours, tickets to five plays, a backstage tour and discussion with an actor or director, and a four night hotel stay (*double occupancy in a shared room.) *Note: Those requesting a single room will be only be accommodated if there are vacant unfilled double rooms as the college reserves a specific number of hotel double-occupancy rooms to accommodate students for this event. If there is a single room available, you will be required to pay the single supplement fee even if others are put in a single room due to uneven pairings.
