shakespeare festival 2010

We are excited to announce we have just confirmed the following plays for 2010.  In addition to our regular Shakespearean playbill, we were able to get tickets for a brand new play, American Night.

Earn 10 English or drama credits or 100 OSPI clock hours (K-12 teachers) this summer while enjoying six plays in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. Classroom sessions before you go help you better understand the language. Then you finish up your course work in the five follow-up sessions! Due to the compact schedule for this program, students should plan on attending ALL class sessions before and after the program as attendance is considered during the grading process. Coursework includes reading and writing assignments. Taken this class before? We have several credit options for students who want to join us again this year.

"This class was incredible.  I learned more than I anticipated in such a short course!  I’m ready to take this course again!  Janet Estes, 2009"

Classes Sessions Before: July 14, 15, 16, 17 (MTWTh)
Oregon Play Dates:  July 21, 22, 23 (TWTh)
Classes Sessions After:  July 26, 27, 28, 29, August 2 (MTWTh & M)

Fees: $999 (subject to change) includes tuition! for 10 credits or 100 SPI clock hours, tickets to six plays, a backstage tour and discussion with an actor or director, and a four night hotel stay (double occupancy in a shared room.) Transportation and meals not included. Note: Effective 2010, those requesting a single room will be only be accommodated if there are unfilled double rooms as the college reserves a specific number of hotel rooms for this event. If you request a single room you will be charged the single supplement fee even if others are put in a single room due to uneven pairings.
