Criminal Justice courses are offered at the Fort Steilacoom and military campuses.

The Associate in Criminal Justice degree program at Pierce College is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to begin a career in the field of criminal justice, to advance in your career if you are already employed by a criminal justice agency, or to go on for further academic work.

Educational Opportunities

You may begin the program at Pierce College during any quarter. A full-time student may complete the program in seven or eight quarters, depending on remedial courses required.

You may also complete the program by attending school part-time and/or evenings only. Evening students must plan carefully with their advisors to ensure that they take courses at the right time, as evening courses are offered less frequently than daytime classes. Some evening course may be offered at extension sites.

Earn Two Degrees for the Price of One!

When you earn your Associate in Criminal Justice degree, you'll also automatically earn an Associate in Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree. Moreover, you can earn multiple certificates as you complete you associate degree to enhance your qualifications. These may include:

Students should be aware that certain criminal behavior may prohibit their employment opportunities in many criminal justice occupations. Students are encouraged to research these situations and consult with a criminal justice advisor.
