Enrollment is open throughout the year. Start in the fall, winter, spring, or summer quarters depending on the degree choice.
Students must complete a skills assessment test (COMPASS test) through the Pierce College testing center.
Certificates can be earned in as little as three quarters. Associate degrees typically take from six to eight quarters to complete.
Individual classes in the Computer Information System programs may transfer as electives to four-year colleges, or as the first two years of a four-year technical degree.
Knowledge of network engineering, database management and health IT are marketable across all industries, and can be applied to a number of different careers such as network engineer, junior database administrator, database developer, business analyst, and data analyst.
