Our 30 plus year accredited Program, from the American Dental Association (ADA) Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)*, enjoys National acclaim and recognition for consistently graduating clinically skilled and intellectually strong dental hygiene clinicians. The Pierce College Dental Hygiene faculty strive for an affable academic climate that commands the very best from the student, balances all aspects of the skills needed for you to be competent and successful, and maintains a high standard to ensure public safety. Currently, our dental hygiene clinic is incorporating the very latest and best technology, including office management software, digital radiography, computer-assisted anesthesia, and more!
The Pierce College Dental Hygiene Program prepares learners for the privilege and responsibility to practice in the profession of Dental Hygiene. This preparation focuses on essential competencies for the successful practice of the profession, inspires lifelong learning, and service to the community.
*The Commission on Dental Accreditation will review complaints that relate to a program's compliance with the accreditation standards. The Commission is interested in the sustained quality and continued improvement of dental and dental-related education programs, but does not intervene on behalf of individuals or act as a court of appeal for individuals in matters of admission, appointment, promotion or dismissal of faculty, staff or students.
