Early Achievers Opportunity Grant

Do you love playing, teaching, and working with children? Do you want to further your career in early childhood education?

The Early Achievers Opportunity Grant provides funding (tuition, books, and student support services) to help you earn the following in early childhood education:

  • Initial Certificate
  • Short Certificate of Specialization in
      • General ECE
      • Infants & Toddlers
      • Family Child Care
      • School-Age Care
      • Administration
  • State Credential
  • Associate Degree

Student Eligibility Requirements:

  • Complete the program application
  • Washington residency (as defined in RCW 28B.15.012)
  • Employment at an Early Achievers childcare facility
  • Family income that meets the 2012-13 guidelines

According to the federal guidelines used by the Opportunity Grant program, the chart below determines if a student meets the income eligibility requirements.
