The Mathematics Department at Pierce College is committed to helping students reach their eductional goals.
If you need help deciding which instructor to take your next math class with, read through the faculty profiles to get some idea what you can expect.
Assistance is provided for all levels of mathematics to students of P ierce College on both campuses. These centers are staffed by a combination of faculty and advanced math students who provide drop-in tutoring to students.
See the tutoring web site for more information, locations, and hours.
If you are having difficulty affording your math textbook, consider applying for the Peter Hartman Textbook Scholarship program, which loans textbooks to students with financial need for the quarter. It is typically open for application several weeks before the start of the quarter up until the 3rd day of the quarter.
If you are a running start student, contact the running start advisor to see if they have a textbook you can borrow.
