Basic Education for Adults (BEdA) - Home

Basic Education for Adults (BEdA) is perfect for students who need some refresher courses before enrolling in high school completion or college classes, taking the official GED test, the COMPASS test, or who simply want to improve their basic skills. Courses include writing, mathematics, reading, history and science. Classes meet for 5-12 hours per week and are available mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Classes are offered at the Fort Steilacoom and Puyallup campuses.

New students need to attend an orientation and be scheduled for state required testing. Students are then enrolled in classes based on their skills assessment results.

Cost: $25 tuition fee per student per quarter.

Students who are younger than 19 yrs old, who have not yet graduated from high school, must submit a release from the school district in which they reside.
