The Center of Excellence is a proud "LEAD College".
The Center of Excellence a "Lead College" and we are one of five national LEAD colleges. We are the only one west of the Mississippi . The others are: Monroe (New York), Oakland (Michigan), Miami-Dade (Florida) and Westmoreland (Pennsylvania).

As a "Lead College" we are tasked to provide the 'training of trainers' program, mentor the "HUB Colleges" and to provide technical assistance. This is a three year project for the Center and we are now in our second year. As a Lead College we have HUB colleges from all across the country who can attend our training sessions and if your college becomes a HUB college you will have an opportunity to go to the training of trainers sessions offered at different times by us and the other Lead Colleges. Acceptance as a HUB college provide you with funding for the training and funds for your additional outreach training to your local/regional college colleagues.
